Welcome to one of the safest places you’ll ever experience!
My name is Franklin White, and I am passionate about mental health.
What you’ll get from checking out my website, is open, honest, and transparent conversations when it comes to offering information and helpful tools about my mental health, my struggles, and also my blessings. As well as being a listening ear to your struggles and accomplishments as well.
Whew, now that we got that out of the way, here’s a little bit about me.
My name is Franklin White, I’m from Birmingham, AL, and currently live in Miami, FL.
I’m an Emmy-award-winning News Reporter. I’ve been reporting in Miami for 4 years, but have been in the news industry for 10 years. I got my first big break on-air in Albany, Ga, and from there I moved to Huntsville, AL, where I was a news anchor and reporter, and after that, my career brought me to South Florida.
I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2009, with a Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism. I’m currently obtaining my Master’s degree in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University, with an expected graduation date of late 2022.
When I’m not reporting on the crazy streets of Miami, I’m focusing on my mental health. I recently lost my Mother and lost my father a few years before that, and since then, life has been rough. I’ve gone through so many ups and downs. I’ve had happy days, bad days, and so many weird days in between. I’ve also suffered from depression too.
With that being said, I plan to have meaningful conversations, about my personal triggers when it comes to depression and social media, and how I am working towards overcoming them.
Again, this will be a safe space for open, honest, and transparent conversations, especially those hard conversations about mental health and its ties to social media. So, that’s just a small piece of me. I can’t wait to share more about my life and journey. Thanks for stopping by!
